Every level book, music companion and learning resource in this program is free to read and download, worldwide where permitted. Donations never gate access: no learner, teacher or parent is asked to pay to reach the lessons or the songs.

Advertising: adult pages only, funding the work

Advertising supports hosting and production. In this education edition the placement law is stricter than anywhere else in the collection, and it is absolute:

• Ad spaces exist only on the adult-facing pages — the front door (index), this page, and the teachers' page — and only in clearly marked areas between complete sections, never inside learning text, lyrics, source quotations or study questions.
• No level, reading or download page carries advertising at all. Every Kindergarten–University level page, the levels directory, the music program page and the Indigenous page are permanently advertising-free; they are named in the configuration file's exclusion list, and the site builder places no ad spaces on them.
• In this draft edition, ad spaces are labelled placeholders only; no advertising network account exists yet, and none will be presented as live before it is real.
• Every ad space is driven by one configuration file, ads-config.js, at the site root: when an approved advertising network is enrolled (by David, personally), its publisher or placement ID is entered in that one file and nowhere else. Until then, no advertising code runs at all. There is no Google advertising product anywhere in this edition.
• Child-safety boundaries (from the Education Platform Launch Master v01): no personalized ads or behavioural profiling in child-directed areas; no religious-belief audience targeting; no child data uploaded to ad audiences; sponsor categories family-safe; sponsor messages kept separate from learning text. Platform policy is rechecked before every launch.

Where the money goes — the revenue order

Advertising and monetization revenue is accounted for nation by nation, according to where the readers are. From each nation's revenue, three things are paid first, in this order, before the publisher receives anything:

1. the taxes appropriate to that nation;
2. the project's operating costs — hosting, production and operations;
3. ten percent of all of that nation's advertising and monetization earnings, given to the poor of that nation — directed first to feeding the hungry, because there are too many starving people in the world.

Only what remains after those three is the publisher's revenue. This order is a standing rule of the collection; it applies to every launch, in every nation, and it is stated here in advance so that it can be checked.

Craft and the makers — a partnership doorway

One part of this program is sustained differently — not by advertising networks at all. The Craft of the Peoples page, in the Indigenous strand, showcases Indigenous craft of the Americas and Amish craft, and holds its space for the makers themselves: Indigenous artisans, nations and community enterprises, and Amish craftspeople and their shops, may be featured there by direct partnership — the direct-sponsorship route of the revenue charter. No network advertising runs on that page — the Indigenous strand of this education edition is permanently advertising-free — nothing there is for sale, and no maker is featured without their own agreement; the revenue order above governs any sponsorship exactly as it governs advertising.

Optional support around the free core

The Education Platform Launch Master v01 sets out a “free core, optional rings” model for the wider platform: the public learning stays free, while family, teacher and institution memberships may one day be offered around it as paid, value-added services. Those tiers and their test prices are proposals recorded in the v01 master — not commitments, and nothing here is for sale today. Donations toward hosting and production are optional and welcome, and never a condition of access.

Facebook and sharing

The program is shared with the world through the collection's Facebook presence, planned as a Facebook Page pointing to this website as the public doorway, so musicians, teachers and families can reach the free books. Creating and posting to the Page, and enrolling in any monetization program — with the publisher's own payout and tax details — are steps David takes personally, after approving every post.
